Classes & Workshops

Jim has ongoing classes with Fayetteville, Ga. Parks and Recreation where they have given him two rooms in the Kiwanis Gym set aside especially for Pottery classes. There are eight wheels and two large tables for hand-building. Both of which he is very talented in and is a thorough teacher of working in clay.

He has the capacity of coming into a class room of young children and holding their attention for hours with his turning wheel and his amusing stories.

Jim and his wife Sally, together do a entertaining party for all ages with a wheel turning demo and simple hands on hand-building projects, that not only gives the children a piece of art, it releases their creative self. Sally with her unique style of pottery brings it to you for a paint it yourself party. Always ready to encourage a young artist to do, her impressed clay is easy to paint with water colors and sealed with clear acrylic. Both of these talented crafts people have worked with children of all ages and adults to reach out and touch the artist inside.
